I am a...

Web assistant and UX Master's student. Passionate about creating designs with clarity and brand consistency. Previous web experience I have done includes improving the layout structure and department identity in an academic setting. My initial interest in building custom keyboards sparked my interest in UX. The action of building a keyboard is similar to the design process, with the typist at the center when designing. You need to consider its ergonomics, workflow, and take into account their feedback and desires.

Psychology Degree

Student of Psychology. Majoring in Psychology, my experience as a web designer and the design courses I took at Oregon State University have shaped me into the designer I am today. Research within the Cognitive Psychology field interested me as an undergraduate, and it transfers to my designs. While researching the attention of those with visual and auditory disabilities in a VR environment, a career shift occurred. What we were learning directly was applicable to the design, drawing me towards my first design job.

Keyboard Building
Building custom mechanical keyboards is a therapeutic and fun hobby for me. An industry I hope to one day join. Using my skills and enthusiast experience to improve the hobby for others.

Cruising in Hawaii
Raised in Hawaii, one of my favorite things to do is drive around Hawaii with no real purpose, but to admire the beauty of what I call home.

Golfing
Similar to keyboard building, I found golfing therapeutic and is an area I desire to work in. Golfing has showed me different design avenues companies can take to establish a brand.
